We did it! Fully - 206% Funded
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for not only supporting our Kickstarter Campaign, but for believing in our Factions races and for helping to bring them to life. There are going to be some incredible upgrades coming to The Outbreak platform in the near future and your support in this campaign will help us to bring these enhancements to you even sooner.
So what happens next?
We have no intention of leaving you hanging in limbo waiting for your rewards. We are currently in final stages of setting up BackerKit. By Friday of this week you will have an email prompting you to fill out your BackerKit surveys where you will be able to confirm your rewards and information so that we can get your rewards in your hands ASAP. On top of that we will also we offering discounts on our other races and challenges for you to add to your bags as well if you so desire.

Only 24 hours left to become a backer for The Outbreak: Factions Kickstarter and grab some serious discounts off of our upcoming horror themed virtual races. In case you aren't familiar, The Outbreak is an interactive mobile game where your real-world steps determine your outcome in a zombie apocalypse. On top of that, if you survive the challenge – we'll send you a real life medal!
We created this Kickstarter with the goal of funding a massive expansion to the game that will add Factions, three new unique societies of humans rising from the ashes of the former world order. Each one having their own unique virtual race dedicated to them, along with an all-new dialogue system, expansive lore and world-building.

New reward Tier: Hash Race
We know that times are tough and we know that not everyone has the extra $$ to spend on fitness. But don't you worry, The Outbreak has your back. For those limited on funds who would like to try one of our virtual-races, we have added a NEW $5 Reward Tier that will grab you a ticket to one of our Hash Races!(Normally $12 Per Ticket) If you've been on the fence about backing, this might be the Tier for you!
Backing this Tier will allow you access to Backerkit after the campaign where you will be able to upgrade and purchase additional races at the discounted Kickstarter price.
Stretch Goal Updates
Our #1 goal is making sure we make sure your experience with The Outbreak is the best is can possibly be, so that you can your steps and exercise in and have fun while doing it! So in that spirit we have decided to lower the goals for our Stretch Goals, as well as revealing ALL of them so that you can see exactly what we have in store for The Outbreak!
Stretch Goal #1: $10,000 - Faction Themed Lobbies + Faction Avatar Clothing
If we are able to reach this 1st Stretch Goal, we would like to implement something that we have been wanting to add to The Outbreak™ for some time, Custom Race Lobbies / Bases!
Stretch Goal #2: $20,000 - Combat Upgrade!
We want to add a major upgrade to The Outbreak combat system that will introduce turn based RPG style combat to your to obstacle and zombie interactions.
Stretch Goal #3: $30,000 - Faction Allegiance Rewards
If we unlock this stretch goal, we would like to delve deeper into encouraging player choice. Adding in-game rewards and consequences to your decisions to either help or hinder factions. Your actions during the game will have an affect the end of the mission and the rewards for your character.
Stretch Goal #4: $40,000 - Secret 4th Faction
Yep thats right, reach this goal and we be adding a Secret 4th Faction to the game for all players to enjoy! This will mean New Themed Lobbies, Avatar Costumes and unique quest-lines. We can't say anything yet, but we are incredibly excited to show you what we have in mind for this last hidden faction...it's a real doozy.
